Hi Keith,
We used to be neighbors (Wheatland & Meadowlark streets) and I still remember being one of several kids playing together at your house.   Graduated with you from HHS in '67.   You were always a nice guy and such a beautiful smile.

I have visited you twice at the Vietnam Wall - '93 & '05.   I carry a picture of your name on my cell phone which "pops up" every day.

Just wanted you and your family to know that I thank you, miss you, think of you often.

23 February 2008

Keith,
To Keith - My Classmate and Fellow Soldier, You and I graduated together from Hutch High.   I was in Viet Nam at the same time you were.   Thank you for your ultimate sacrifice.   There are still many in America who don't know or appreciate what we did, and never will.   As a friend, you are still with me in my heart.

When we think of ourselves we think Shakespeare, Henry V, Act IV, Scene 3:   "We few, we happy few, we band of brothers;   For he today that sheds his blood with me shall be my brother."

5 March 2007

Keith,
My last memory of you was at Grandma and Grandpa Fry's, upstairs in the south bedroom, you and Vicki were singing, "Where Have All the Flowers Gone". And once at Christmas you gave me a small suitcase and I had it until it finally fell apart from years of use. I was only 13 then but I still remember you. I love you.
Your Cousin,Debbie Fry Dillon

Keith,
I still remember the first time I saw you; circling the base camp in a slick. Big smile, flashing a peace sign. I said to myself "who is this guy?". You turned out to be one of the finest persons I ever met.

14 April 2005

Just doing a search for my own name and found this web page for Keith Fry, whom I share the same name with. I was caught up reading about Keith and his bravery. Just a kid, giving his life for the sake of others. Looking upon his photo, and reading the words of his friends, my heart aches and my eyes swell with bittersweet tears. What a loss for those who coddled him as a child! I am truly sorry. May our great God in heaven bless that family with peace and happiness forever.
Keith Fry

24 February 2004

Keith,
       I have thought about you, thousands upon thousands of times, for three and a half decades now. I wasn't as close, as you & Terry were. There could never be another duo, like "Keith & Ugly" were. When you were snatched from among us,Terry had to remain here on earth, suffering with even deeper grief than I, or any of the rest of your pals; Wayne, Mike, Johnny,(etc.- etc.), could even begin to comprehend. It is when these thoughts of missing you, return like they have again just now, that I realize that a part of Terry, left with you. Keith, I miss you so very much and want you to know how much I miss Ugly too. So, Keith, would you tell him hello for me, because I know he's standing with you now (where he belongs!) and let him know, as you do, that were all coming to see you again. And on that glorious day, I will get to hear the guitar & vocals , of my buddies,once again. Until then, remember;
" I love ya man", - Bob

This flag left with all respect for Keith, who will never be forgotten.

This flag left with deepest sympathy for Gaylon, Keith's other friends and family - I understand, appreciate, and am sorry for your loss.

Respectfully, and with all sincerity, Lisa Robbins

"Never Forget Them"
We remember the sacrifice of the best men our country had; those who, but for an accident of timing, should have been with us today. We remember the sacrifice of each who came home in a box. We remember the sacrifice of each who was lost and never recovered. We remember the sacrifice of each who was brought back still alive, but who never really made it home. - Lisa Robbins

2 May 2003

Keith,
My friend....34yrs ago today you died so others might live. The world will never know how much of a hero you really are. You are missed soooo much by your family and your friends. To this day, Terry won't talk about losing you,"his best friend". I too share that pain. I miss your smile and your laughter! I dedicated these pages to the memory of you and Gary Browning. Let us NEVER forget the sacrifice that all of you have made.    Gaylon

11 November 2002

You will stay young, beautiful and golden in our hearts for all time! I still wish you were among us...It would be a better world with you still in it! Teresa

19 June 2002

Dearest Keith,
I may not be able to see your face or touch your hand but you are forever in my heart and on my mind. I've no doubt that you know how much you are loved and missed. I look forward to the day when we will, once again, spend time together reliving our memories of the days when we were young, free and innocent. I love you!    Robin
